Made with vintage linens, naturally dyed using fresh leaf Japanese Indigo from April’s dye garden and locally foraged, native Alabama Black Walnut. Months in the making, from seed to textile. No metal mordants were used on this piece, just the plant matter. April uses historic costume techniques to bring her designs to life and this bag is lovely example of that!

The lining is black walnut dyed vintage napkin. Organic cotton under-structure.
