Tailored Quilt Jacket
A tailored quilt jacket constructed from a vintage 1940’s quilt topper. Ms. Bonasera quilted the topper to a cotton waffle textile that was dyed with the Dyer’s Coreopsis flower. Every detail of the jacket is tailored with slow precision. The seams are finished with a hong kong finish using an old men’s button down dyed with the cosmos sulphureus flower. The cuffs can be rolled up as pictured to display the details. Washable and constructed to last a lifetime.
Laying flat the bust measures 42” and the waist is 44”
The jacket is nipped at the waist and could be worn oversized, cinched with a belt or with a close fit to accomodate a variety of body shapes.
